The Edwardian Full Moon Encounter was the original working title for our latest project--an adaptation based on the work of the 19th century British writer Saki. But when we came up with that title way back in 2007, we were only considering the idea of turning just one of his stories into a film, a short that would have a total running time of no more than 15-20 minutes. Then the concept simmered on the back burner while we produced and promoted our Mad City Chickens documentary.
Now it's three years later, and the narrative idea has expanded to feature-length. The adaptation will be based on three of Saki's stories instead of just one, thus facilitating the need for the new "working title", Saki's Journal.
Story and script are in development, and a website is in the works.
