Kill Bill Closing Credits

In previous posts, we've discussed what it is that we like (and dislike) about title sequences seen at the end of movies. In almost all of the films where we've found these closing credits to be appealing, the imagery on screen has consisted of animations and/or illustrations. Yet, another style worth looking at is one that simply utilizes clips from the actual movie.

At the conclusion of Kill Bill II (2004), the Bride, played by Uma Thurman, is reunited with her daughter after having succeeded in defeating the long list of members from the Deadly Vipers Assassination Squad. A Quentin Tarantino happy ending. There's no need to be "flashy" with the end titles; the film was full of flash. Now it's time to simply bask in the glow of it all.

How is this accomplished? Choose the right music. Then recap the long list of actors that made the film a success. End with mother and daughter heading off into the sunset.
